Curriculum

St. Joseph's Convent, Idgah, Bhopal follows the CBSE board Pattern and the NCERT curriculum for all classes. The SJC system of education uses efficient and interactive methods which incorporates new teaching techniques. The teachers use play way as well innovative methods of teaching in the primary section. Classes VI- XII follow the NCERT curriculum. SJC has adopted the latest CCE (Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation System) pattern upto class X which has been introduced by the HRD ministry . The school adheres to all the CBSE rules and guidelines. It is a pioneer in promoting various activities, competitions and examinations conducted by CBSE as well as different schools. The school offers Urdu and Sanskrit as the third language to the middle school (VI-VIII) and Sanskrit to secondary level students. The school provides 3 streams including Science(Maths and Biology), Commerce, and Humanities, for the 10+2 level students with a variety of optional subjects that include Informatics Practices(Python, MySQL), Physical Education, Hindi, Fine Arts and Psychology
